Nile Swimmers started in 2007, with an idea from the British Council, and a shared vision from Tilal Salih, Dan Graham and Tom Mecrow. Since then, the organisation has grown slowly, carefully establishing ourselves as a credible and globally respected drowning prevention organisation. We now have technical agreements with various Ministries of the Sudan Government, and have delivered technical projects on behalf of UNICEF.
